We are a family owned and operated farm located in Inola Oklahoma. We raise and sell quality, registered Myotonic goats, sometimes called fainting goats. We usually have kids for sale in the Spring and Fall seasons.
Some of the farm bloodlines that we have are from Wolf River Ranch, Buck Creek Farm, Fern Hill Farm, Bakken Farm, Wells and Brassring farm, and Moonlight Farms. We have champion and PGCH bloodlines.
Myotonic goats have a gentic condition called myotonia congenita. The goats do not truly "faint" in any sense of the word, as they never lose consciousness. Instead they often will become stiff in the legs causing them to fall over when they are startled. The condition will last roughly 10-20 seconds and is not harmful to the animal.
They are a slightly smaller than standard breed of the goat, fainting goats are generally 17 to 25 inches tall and can weigh anywhere from 60 to 174 pounds. With bucks often reaching 200 pounds.
We are proud members of the Myotonic Goat Regestry (MGR) where you can find the complete bloodlines on all of our heard.
